For small events, the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio is ideal. The trio comprises fiddle, accordion or guitar and a dance caller. The trio performs either 2 x 1 hour sets of dances in a 3 hour period and brings a small high-quality PA system tailored to suit the venue size. Background music of a similar style is played through the PA for 30 mins before the first set and in the breaks between the sets. The trio costs £525.00. Add more musicians for a larger event. Additional players increase the price by £175.00 a man.
